A Great Mix -Toronto Star Box Seats and The Jonas Brothers-(they’re not the Rolling Stones but they do put on a great show)

My friend Deb Gallant has been managing sales teams focused on recruitment classifieds for a long time, she started at The Globe and Mail and is now at The Toronto Star.

Deb and I love to talk about recruiting and sales in general…….we were over due for a gab session and so, Deb had the perfect solution – getting together at The Jona’s Brothers concert with my daughter Shea happily in tow.

We sat in The Star’s box seats…
There’s nothing like the panoramic view you get, the special VIP treatment, not to mention the catered popcorn and chicken wings.

The Jonas brothers are full of life and enthusiasm, they don’t strut like peacocks, they truly engage their audience and reach out to them.
They communicate directly to the audience, in a way I haven’t seen since The Osmond’s (yes, yes I am dating myself)…….visualize 56,000 screaming girls ages 12-16. (Scratch that, 50,000, the rest were moms wearing earplugs)

The most moving set was when Nick Jonas spoke candidly about his battle with Diabetes while playing piano ……. screen shots of his smiling face as he made statements about his will to “never stop” were beyond touching, he must have sat silent with the audience resonating for about 20 seconds ..Just soaking up their cheers of encouragement….
Now that we have more adequate knowledge, it’s a high time to adopt purchase cialis on line bargain prices better habits and thoughts. There was never a mention of sex, drugs, or rock’n roll during this concert……how totally refreshing…..no disco sticks to mention here.

With The Honor Society, Jordin Sparks, The Wonder Girls and Demi Lovato backing these boys up….we had 3 hours of pure and dazzling fun…..

Shea and I left the concert with big smiles on our faces and floated through the jam packed subway turnstiles with 1,000s just like us…..I got a kick out of the dolled up moms in their rocker jeans, girls with all forms of face paint and Jona’s t-s, texting and facebooking in real time in the crowded subway platforms……..though I went to bed at 1am on a Sunday…it was one of the best nights I have had in a long long time.

Thanks to Deb and The Toronto Star……………………

I am the founder of i-identify inc., a Toronto-based recruiting company, founded in 2013. My research uncovers full-time, interim and contract professionals who are leaders in their respective fields. My early work was focused on the emerging tech - sector, and later expanded into retail and consumer packaged goods technologies. In the past five to six years I have broadened my expertise to include Canada's public and not-for-profit sectors, working on assignments as far north as Iqaluit, uncovering talent as senior as Deputy Ministers, Commissioners and executives at the C level. I've become a search generalist who specializes in identifying great talent.
